Trends come and go, but great flooring never goes out of style. As 2025 unfolds, we’re seeing exciting shifts in how Zanesville homeowners approach flooring design. At Lavy’s Flooring, we stay at the forefront of innovation — combining timeless craftsmanship with today’s most in-demand looks.
Hardwood remains a top favorite, but with a modern twist. Wide planks, matte finishes, and natural tones are leading the way. Instead of glossy, formal looks, homeowners are opting for understated elegance that celebrates the wood’s natural grain and texture. Reclaimed and rustic wood designs are especially popular, bringing character and authenticity to both traditional and contemporary homes.
Luxury vinyl plank continues its rise as a powerhouse in flooring innovation. With high-definition imaging and realistic textures, it mimics the look of hardwood or stone — but with added water resistance and affordability. This makes it perfect for busy families, pet owners, and anyone who wants beauty without the worry.
Carpet, too, is seeing a creative renaissance. Patterned carpets with geometric or organic designs are making bold statements in bedrooms and living spaces. Textured carpets add depth and movement underfoot, while neutral color palettes allow furniture and décor to shine.
Eco-conscious flooring is another growing trend. More homeowners are asking about sustainable options like recycled fibers, low-VOC carpets, and responsibly sourced hardwood. Lavy’s Flooring partners with trusted brands that prioritize environmental responsibility without compromising on quality or style.
And let’s not forget about area rugs — the unsung heroes of design. A well-chosen rug can anchor a room, add warmth, and tie together diverse flooring types for a cohesive look.
Trends are exciting, but what matters most is finding what feels right for you. The best flooring reflects your personality, your lifestyle, and your home’s unique charm.
